Phelps-Hutchinson MarriageThe Honeymoon on a YachtMiss Rose Hutchinson and John J. Phelps were yesterday married at St. George's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Dr. Rainsford in the presence of the relatives of the bridal couple and a few intimate friends. The ceremony was enriched by the full choir of the church leading the procession to the chancel singing the wedding march from "Lohengrin." The bride wore white silk and a veil of Tulle, fastened with white roses and diamonds. Her elder sister Miss Hutchinson attended her, and gave her away. Miss Marion Phelps was maid of honor, and Sheffield Phelps, brother of the groom, was best man. Edgar S. Porter of New Haven, Kier Mitchell of Pittsburg, Frank Phelps and Tuthill R. Hilliard of Wilkesbarre, William Carey of New York, and Elijah Boardman of Cleveland were the ushers. All wore scarf pin favors from the bridegroom. A wedding breakfast was subsequently served from which the bridal couple departed on a yachting cruise.
