Old New Castle Day
Mother recalls being taken to a celebration of Old New Castle Day in Delaware with Gaga and Auntie A. Upon arriving at the door a gentlemen greeted them, saying, "How lovely to have the Lea sisters back in New Castle!" Whereupon a young woman said to Gaga, "Oh, are you one of the Lees of Virginia?"
Gaga turned upon her and replied, "I am not! I spell my name L - E - A."
