George Ludovic Alexander

George L. Alexander

George Ludovic Alexander, aged 74, of 311 McMillen Trail, retired property manager of Worthen Bank and Trust Company, died Sunday. He was born at Pine Bluff, but had lived at Little Rock since early childhood. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church, Pulaski County Post 334 of the American Legion and the Bookfellows Club. In 1969, after 40 years as a trustee, he was elected trustee emeritus by the Board of Trustees of Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Gladys McCullough Alexander; a son, Dr. George L. Alexander of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Alexander Wilds of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Mrs. Eberle U. Stevenson of Nashville, Tenn., and six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Marks Episcopal Church Discretionary Fund or the Heart Fund. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Ruebel Funeral Home.
