In Their Own Words:
Biographical Notes

Maggie McNeeley Reynolds

Maggie McNeeley Reynolds

She was the daughter of a travelling salesman, a companion of Hunter Peel Alexander. Her mother died and her father was not able to properly care for the little girl. So, she came to live with the Alexanders. To my knowledge there was no formal adoption, but she was always accepted as one of the family.

She married Prather Reynolds and had several children. Widowed, she suffered a stroke and spent the rest of her life at St. Joseph's nursing home. Once confined to a wheelchair she became totally unmotivated to do anything more than watch TV and chat with visitors, but she was always jolly and cheerful.
